…turned into 600!
In the on-going “post-crash travails” I’ve now on-loaded roughly 600, count ‘em s-i-x, hundred images. That was from (a few over) 40 discs. ‘Most of them CD’s, but I do remember seein’ one of ‘em was a dvd.
That’ll be enough to get me started… :O)!
There are about 30 more discs to go thru… later. Right now my main thrust will be culling the 600 and getting them finalised; then I can really work that new software.
But now it’s Sunday mornin and I’m w/o adult supervision!
BFF’s takin’ the weekend “up there” to effect a move, from her apt. in Occoquan to a room-and-a-bath in a house roughly a mile from work. (‘ A move that pleases us both. I went up last weekend and had a look-see and met her landlord… and watched the grin on her face as we clocked how far she’d have to commute. I don’t remember th’ numbers; but it was well under ten min.) So she won’t be home ’til Thur., and I’m “batchin’ it”. ‘Pleasant, as far as it goes, but I wouldn’t want to make a habit of it again. I spent my 20-odd years that way. Believe you me, this (marriage) is much better.
But while I’m batchin’, I sleep if, as and when I want. Eatin’ th’ same way. An’ lately it’s been mostly work, eatin’ and sleepin’ got to bein’ secondary to that. I want to get BOTH sites squared away and runnin’, to th’ point that I can just occasionally add an up date. And THAT takes… (dirty word here) WORK!
So I’d better get back to it!
